Award-winning actor Dalit Berkowitz (*dah-leet*) was born in Israel to Argentinian and South African parents. When she was six months old, they moved to the New York area, where she grew up on Long Island and in Manhattan.

As an actor and singer, Dalit has performed at venues across New York City, including Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall, Todo Con Nada, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, The West Bank Theater and Manhattan Playhouse. Now based in Los Angeles, she has appeared in the inaugural Hollywood Fringe Festival and at the acclaimed Fountain Theatre. Television work includes Colony, Law and Order and the iconic series, China Beach. Dalit creates real, unforgettable characters in genres ranging from fantasy to black comedy to family thriller and all shades in between.

Dalit holds a BFA in Acting from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and a graduate degree in TESOL from Teachers College, Columbia University. Locally, she has taught at USC, Art Center College of Design, SCI-Arc, and Los Angeles City College, as well as at Baruch College and Mercy College in NYC. Dalit is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity.
