My recent thrill=The Santa Barbara International Film Festival. I was there for world premiere of Joshua Shimmin’s richly detailed western short, Blood and Water. In it I play Charlotte, gravely ill and beloved by two very different brothers.
The screening was at the historic Lobero Theatre (founded in 1873–I love me some theater history :)) and was among a strong group of local filmmaker’s works. The shot below was taken at another historic Santa Barbara theater and the hub of the festival, The Arlington Theatre. Suffice it to say, it was pretty dreamy to amble about this lovely town and festival. O happy day!
